imity_joins_zyb.gifZYB just bought Denmark Copenhagen based mobile social networking platform startup imity, ZYB has raised only 3M itself, and the deal is not so big as was told. See Imity's blog for more information.

Imity is an open-source mobile social networking platform based in Copenhagen. Users can detect nearby members via bluetooth and send basic profile information to their phones.

It also keeps track of people on its website, so you can check that out periodically from your normal computer. It bridges mobile and traditional social networks, which may help it gain critical mass.

I'm a devoted user of ZYB, synchronizing my P1i with it weekly, that makes me comfortable with my cellphone, I won't panic if my cellphone disappeared one day cause I could recover the contacts from my ZYB account effortlessly. I've recommended ZYB to my wife and some friends, they are such happy with it. If, ZYB could provide free SMS backup, what a paradise, for now, it's ¥1 each, which costs too much for Chinese user Money mouth

Magnetic Photo Rope is one of the coolest things we've found. Cool because it's sleek and silvery, because it uses tiny, surprisingly-strong magnets, and because it's not yet another boring photo frame. (It's cheaper, too!)

The simple and beautiful 43" cable comes with 8 magnets you can use to attach photos, postcards, birthday cards, dental checkup reminders... you name it. The bottom of the cable is weighted to keep it straight, and a loop of cable at the top lets you hang the rope from anywhere.

Magnetic Photo Rope is way nicer than sticking your photos on the fridge, and a whole lot more interesting than a frame.

WOW! I really really want some pieces for my new living room, that idea is awesome! Can't help loving it! Despite the humid season span from May to July in Shanghai, maybe I should laminate the pictures in sealants in priority, what a trouble Frown
